The SmartMLS Offers platform is tightly integrated with our connectMLS system, providing a simple yet elegant way to securely and transparently submit and manage offers. There is no need to sign into a separate program or manually send an offer for a property. It's all accessible through the MLS system.
Note: SmartMLS Subscribers do not need to create an account for SmartMLS Offers. Your access is already provided through your SmartMLS credentials, which are passed directly to Offers through your preferred MLS system (connectMLS or Matrix).
The remainder of this article illustrates how to access the Offers platform from either MLS system.
Access SmartMLS Offers from connectMLS
If you are on the connectMLS homepage, there is a separate Offers widget that gives you an overview of your current offers (both on your own listings and offers you have submitted on other agents' listings) and provides access to the SmartMLS Offers dashboard:
If you do not see the Offers widget on your connectMLS homepage, it is very easy to add it and place it in your desired location. Click here for more information.
There is also a link to SmartMLS Offers at the top of the Tools, Resources, & Links widget on the Connect homepage:
Additionally, there is a Create Offer button conveniently located on the Agent and Client versions of the Full Detail and Full Detail w/Photos reports that lets you begin the process of submitting an offer directly from a listing:
Access SmartMLS Offers from Matrix
The SmartMLS Offers integrations within Matrix are very similar to those within Connect.
There is a separate Offers widget on the Matrix home page:
There is also a link to SmartMLS Offers within the External Links widget:
Note: if don't see these widgets on your Matrix home page, you may just have to unhide them. Click here for instructions on configuring the widgets on the Matrix home page.
Finally, much like in connectMLS, use the Create Offer button on the Agent Full display:
If you try to access the Offers platform using any of these gateways and encounter the SmartMLS Offers login page instead:
- Do not click Create an account. That is only for consumers.
- Click Real Estate Professionals Sign In Here (at the bottom of the window).
- Sign in using your existing SmartMLS credentials.
Important: all SmartMLS Offers email notifications are sent to the email address associated with your SmartMLS account. This includes notifications about email verification, offers, counter-offers, status updates and signing activity. If you're not receiving notifications, please verify that the email address in your SmartMLS account is accurate.
